A fellow board member here once asked if I ever sold any of my duplicates. Here's the 1905-P that I sold to LogPotato.
This is by far my favorite coin in my collection. You can really tell Mike put a lot of care and effort into his collection. He has some of the best looking Barber's out there. He is also a very knowledgeable collector and helped me out anytime I had questions.:thumb: I'm hoping I can add another AU Half and Dime for my collection come August.
Justin, I'm very glad you liked the 1905-P Quarter I sold you. I liked it a lot when I bought it too. Also, thank you for sending the images of the 05-P Quarter to the BCCS, to determine what the die chip was under the One in the Date. Steve thought it might have been a RPD, I just thought it a die chip. Ok, continuing with the Quarters - here are the 1906 Quarters out of my collection:
Forgot I have a dime in my Type Set. To me, Barber's work was uninspired and reminds me of a bust of Ceasar. Only have this coin in my collection because I need it for a type coin.
1912 - Call them what you will, but I think the Barbers are one of the most nobel of all designs we have ever produced. Not the most artistic, I agree.
Latest addition to my circulated barber half collection. I'll park my Honda Civic next to the Mercedes and Cadillacs on this thread.
