Domdino, Are you working on a set or are they just neat old coins to look at once in awhile ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My week and a half at Sacramento is over - I leave for the airport in an hour - and although many said it was an average show - we were able to close a good size deal in the closing minutes of the show - making it a really good show. Had a nice time with friends - went to Sutter's Mill - and the surrounding countryside; had a tour of Old Sacramento - and the state capitol building. Ate at an old restaurant called the Firehouse in Old Town. [ great experience - if you are ever in the area, make sure you get to have dinner there. ] Ok... last images until I get home to Florida:
The latter. I'd been in the shop last week and saw a box full of them. Then this week I HAD to have some. I know, They're worn. I paid $10.73 for these four.
Totally!!! I'm not crying about it though, I'm taking advantage of it! I just bought $160+ face value of Barbers (halves, quarters & dimes) for melt and many of them had full rims. would rather have these than other 90% or silver eagles any day!
Regardless of the grade - I love 'em all !! Log Potato - nice images. What's the REV of the 16-D look like ?
Everyone has a favorite... Here's mine: PCGS Tru-View Images: Seller's Images: Recent Professional Images:
Beautiful '01, The seller's picture had too much light or overexposed or something. I don't know much about photography but I know that wasn't a great picture lol.
Not to change the subject! Some great looking Barber 4 sure!:thumb: ff-topic: I wonder this coin had an influence with the Barder Dime??? there both the same size & the dated obv looks so much like Barber Dime rev with out the corn???
The reverse of the Barber Dime is little changed from the reverse used for Seated Liberty Dimes from 1860 onward, so personally, I'd chalk it up to coincidence.
