I am glad my family doesn't buy me coin gifts because they don't know anything about coins and would probably buy me this $50 buffalo. I get my wife to buy things but I always gotta specifically pick it out like order something from the US Mint. I bought this Franklin Half for myself for Xmas, not bad. Not as nice as my Peace Dollar but still not bad. :thumb: https://www.fiftydollarbuffalo.com/?mid=3339276

I like Ken's gift the best. Under the right conditions, he'll have a nice diamond in a few million years! Guy
What every girl wants for Christmas. Singing Harley Doggies, Barbie, Craftsman wrenches and an RC helicopter.
Got an Intercept Shield type set book and a 3 cent nickel and no cents V nickel to go in it. Also the little one got me a change organizer for 'daddy's coins.' Also got the same chocolate Kennedy's
My best present today was my wife's cooking. Let's just say she takes Christmas dinner VERY seriously. She's been at it for two days. On the menu: Garlic stuffed venison roast Turkey with bread stuffing Warm potato salad with onions, sausage, and egg Mincemeat Raw snap peas with sour cream dressing Popovers stuffed with vanilla custard Banana cream pie ALL made from scratch. She's the bomb, my greatest blessing, and my best friend. And I thank God every day for her. Merry Christmas to you all!
I got my first gold! My grandpa got me a 1/10 ounce gold eagle for Christmas. Also got a Black Powder pistol and a new camera. So now I'll be able to take pictures now. Great Christmas with all my family and great food
I hope you've got someone to train you on that pistol. It's a totally different ballgame from modern revolvers.
Good question. There is a slight peripheral toning on the f of half and the do of dollar on the reverse. I know that 1958 MS coins had some beautiful toners and PCGS and their sniffer machine is supposed to detect all foreign substances. It's for those two reasons I am accepting this coin as an NT. With that said, I may just send it in to PCGS or at least find out the date it was graded. My concern is maybe they got this coin before they had their sniffer machine. I don't know, I think they got their sniffer machine in early 2010. Any suggestions?
My 31 year old son getting his first Red Ryder BB gun. The grandson got 2012 mint set and a proof Keel Boat nickel, among other misc coins. I got the best. A Barnes and Noble gift card, I get to buy another book.
