That's how my quarters (specially the silver proofs) are starting to look in my Dansco albums. Nice show off coins guys.
Sorry if I keep posting in this thread. I had actually forgotten how many toned proofs that were put away and forgotten, until this thread popped up. This one though, just came as a bonus in a nickel order I just received last week. Unfortunately it is not real gold, but you don't hear me not complaining! Also my first image I have taken through a slab. I suppose I could have polished it first.
Baha, that cent is full of want! Love the blast white obverse with the toned reverse. Exquisite and unique
The gold is one thing, but the 60's Jefferson proofs are notorious for serious neon colors. I finally took new images of mine. To paraphrase the famous words of geekpryde: "Yes, they really are these colors."
I'm sitting here alone in the dark laughing outloud like an idiot. Thanks for making me famous, and for making me laugh. Nice coins as always!
Greg, your images are AMAZING! Sadly I can't do as well GOt this the other day. Can't quite capture it, but it is purple with some blue on it. And I'm not going to do any juicing on these photos :_
