See Harry- like I said. Your getting all the high grade keys. Do you collect only the keys or how do you collect Lincolns? I will turn the 15 in to PCGS when I get some more dough. Grading gets expensive. Here's my new 31 S. I am calling my Harker special. :secret::secret: Sorry for slab glare and scratches- especially the squiggly on the lower center reverse- it's a slab scratch
Some beautiful toning on that 31 S Boss! As far as lincolns go I have a Raw and slabbed collection. I have number 1, 2 and 3 of the whitman folders completed and very close to 30 slabbed lincolns, most are pre 1940. Only one slabbed Lincoln proof, a 1936.
Here's another- what would it grade anyone?. I think it's a 64 RB, myself. Thanks Harry for the update. I assume in your Whitman albums you mean the ones that you can see through both sides like JustCarl uses? Thanks for compliments Travis and Jello.
I know this has some small carbon spots (2 of them), but I still think it's a great coin. The polish lines are crazy on the reverse. When I submit a new batch I am hoping for a 66, but will be ok with a 65 RD.
Nice looking coins. just love those 16's and 17's. I would have to guess you get a 65 on the 35. The 16 I am not so sure about. I cannot tell if that is AU or MS. If it is MS, you will not be disappointed.
Sorry, but it does not. I can see you pics fairly well. I just cannot tell if it is worn or the way the coloring is. I would say wear, but I see nothing to indicate wear on the reverse.
Last try. I knew after I posted it that maybe those photos did not really clear it up. Hard to tell if the toning is covering up wear or not.
No I have the older style whitmans, only the obverse is only visable. I know they are bad for the coins. They are in the original folders my dad had them in the 70's, some of his notes and handwriting is still inside.
just got a few in... I got a moster load of unc lincoln...175.00 worth....just going thru them ..... from 1909 till approx 1978.....yippie....
Houston- you bought all those?? for only $175? Wow. What are the dates of the early rolls? Thanks Harry!
Well just went through all the pages of this thread, and I gotta say, nice Lincolns.. LOL! but trust me guys, that is on my to do list, go through this whole thread, and why not start with... PAGE 1! There are some really nice lincolns here, and I hope the first pages don't let me down!
Boss, that coin will grade AU IMO. You can see wear on the beard, cheek and above the ear....it is confirmed by the rubs on the lapel. I think it's a very nice coin still! The 1931-S is also very nice!
