One of my new favorites I just like the look dd: I love the tone on the 1957 above but do not see how it graded 67 with all the contact marks and weaker strike around the ear?
Here is one I won tonight. I think that the seller had the price marked wrong. This was one I thought was too expensive - not that it was cheap. BTW, sellers pis until I can take my own.
PCGS is all about lustre for a high grade Lincoln. The image does not show the lustre plus it's super sized which makes the hit's worse than actual. This one arrived yesterday (POP 1/0):
Nice one. Did you get the 44-D also? I bid on both and another 44-, but they were a little more than I had available.
My 1948-D came in today. One of 55 from NGC and only 40 at PCGS. I got it for less than $150 BIN. The last one to go for <$180 was 3 years ago on Heritage and this guy is not selling cheap. In fact, many of his coins are 2 and up times the normal selling prices. He wants $650 for his 1954-D NGC 67 that I am trying to sell for $130. I strongly suspect that he had the price marked wrong.
Here's a very rare one, stuck on the Schuler press and after the mint really started controlling the release of errors. I've seen a grand total of 3 of these ANYWHERE.
Yes, that MERI from AMERICA caused by another cent being pressed into the coin. Can't you read backwards? LOL What nobody can tell me is how they are RAISED and not incuse?
