The legend surrounding in Latin "TEMPORA NOSTRA PATER DONATA PACE CORONA" - "Father Crown Our Times With The Gift Of Peace".</p><p><br /></p><p>These coins were original struck in 1700 to greet the new century. This coin was restruck sometimes in 1755-64. This coin design expressed the hope that the new century would be less warlike than the previous hundred years.
