Post mint or error?

    I tried to get well-focused and well-lit photos and took photos at multiple lighting angles. Sorry for yet another “is this an error” post, but I’m trying to learn!

    Welcome to Coin Talk. Looks like a die chip. They're pretty common so there's very little increase in value

    Not a Die Chip.
    It's a Plating Blister. 1996 Cents are Copper Plated Zinc. Just some air trapped underneath the plating.

    Aren't blisters usually ragged?

    No they are not. It just looks like a bubble.
