    Hi folks,

I wanted to share these 3 PMD's - Post Mint Damage coins that at one time I actually thought they would be considered true errors. I sent them to NGC to get attributed and they were returned "NOT ENCAPULATED".. I posted the Obverse and Reverse of the coins. Also the NGC label with explanation. Yes I learned my lesson!

 So enjoy and I hope you all get a good laugh! :D

Coin #1 - 1939 1 Cent - Damaged to resemble an error. The Reverse was filed down and I thought that it was a blank.
Coin #2 - 1945 5 Cent - Damaged - The edge of the Nickel was crushed. Never saw anything like it. Thought it was some crazy Brockage. More like fire damage!
Coin #3 - 1991 10 Cent - Damaged - You can't see it to well but it's a spooned edge Dime. The rim was hammered down all around. Thought it was a finned rim.

Wow - they could have at least encased them, I mean you paid....that is kinda of cheesy.

NGC didn't start encapsulating problem coins until about 7 years ago. Up to that time, you would get them back in a body bag.
