Seems like this should be a fun thread idea. Just saw this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/German-Stat...410?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25a6e731f2 Here is the main pictures for after the link expires: Cool, well made and also creepy as hell with that weasel skull hunter charm and all. What are some of the oddities you've come across?
haha Saw these things everywhere! Cane Toad Coin pouch. These guys are killing tons of local animals, so the aussies took them and made a joke with it. Then the Kangaroo coin pouch. Guess which part this came from?
This bottle of Avon Liberty Dollar Aftershave was "won" in an extortion auction (high bidder gives it to someone who must raise the bid to give it to someone else) at VAM Thing XII back in January. Thankfully, this is not me being assaulted by what was described as a cross between Love's Baby Soft and Hai Karate.
Seems to work out okay for Brian May of Queen. He uses sixpence coins as picks-- not carved, just as-found. I saw Queen + Adam Lambert in Dallas last year. Best seats ever! No zoom required. I felt like a concert photographer . I can confirm that he does indeed use coins for picks. He keeps extras in a little pocket on his guitar strap.
I've shown this before but it's weird. Sterling pie server with an 1860 Brazil 500 Reis, gift from my grandmother
I have seen it all now. LOL I have seen Quarter, Dime, Cent, and Nickel earrings that are about the size of a vegetable pea.
