I just got this today. It has birds on both sides. 1975 New Guinea 20. Not sure offhand what the T stands for.
Another puffin, of a different type. This is the 'MacPuffin' trade dollar, a series from Cape Breton Island (Nova Scotia) from 1975 to the early 1990s. This puffin has the Cape Breton tartan hat and a walking stick.
A recent error coin I picked up. I don't collect birds, I don't collect South African coins, and almost all of my error coins are Canadian - but I could not resist it...
