The best part of that coin is that I found one of those in a roll search this last summer, mine is dated 1913. I already own quite a few of them.
My main theme in collecting banknotes - I own hundreds of notes from all over the world with that theme. I had a website until my host flopped my site.
My dream empress coin that I acquired this year. Orbiana (225 - 227 A.D.) AR Denarius O: SALL BARBIA ORBIANA AVG, draped bust right. R: CONCORDIA AVGG,Concordia seated left holding double cornucopia and patera. 19mm 3.8g RIC IV 319, RSC III 1, BMCRE VI 287, SRCV II 8191
I love that coin. I'll post mine later this evening. I also want to obtain a nicer raw example and a nice slabbed coin as well.
This is silver plated plaquette for Carlsberg Brewery in Kobenhavn Denmark: Minted in Paris and engraved/designed by J.C. Chaplain in 1895.
That is an awesome plaquette. I've never seen it before, and I'm a big fan of Jules Clement Chaplain. Let me know if you ever want to sell it (via PM, of course!) Chris
