I am thinking that the small dark corrosive spots across both sides of the coin are post-PCGS grading changes, maybe even from improper storage over the years. Another thing, this coin does have some typical cloudy-looking IKE toning present but I didn&#039;t try to capture that aspect in the photos so that I could focus on the problems. I am interested in learning about coin conservation and I too think this will be a challenging coin to work with, under the assistance of professionals.
