Picked up a couple toners. Can't wait for them to come in. This one was my favorite. Hope it stands up to the pictures! If it will come back MS, i'm definately gonna get it graded.
Here is the other toner i picked up. Tried to crop together the seller photos, sorry so small. Again, I hope the colors hold true. Excited for these to arrive!
You can get a full set of them. Just buy every year and mm somewhere, then dip them in whatever solution you use to get that purple and gold film on all of your coins.
This one came in. Nice gold tone, but I'm scared it will get body bagged for AT. I know it is a mirror proof, but the colors are very metallic. Anyone have experience with this and Proofs? If anything the colors are better than the pictures, but maybe they are too good...
With those photos i dont really have an opinion, that being said when i saw those photos i had strong suspicion that it may be AT and i may know where this coin originated. Did you purchase it on eBay?
lol im not referencing that particular seller, hes not even that good at AT'ing coins but there is another steer clear because hes actually good at it..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1977-S-GORG...61?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item4170abaee5
I hope you didnt buy this coin with the intentions of it being naturally toned?? This seller list several of these artificially toned coins a week....... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-D-TONE...58?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item257a85ee8a http://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-D-TONE...27?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item257a320aa3 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-D-TONE...76?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item53f47e1368 and thats just in the last couple days AT for sure sorry
I did but even if its not it was only $5 and I liked how it looked. So regardless ill be a happy camper
And thats really the right way to look at it, if your happy with it then thats all that really matters, i was just letting you know before you spent any money trying to submit it thats all.....
