    Clad Proof Ikes were not made until 1973.

    Right. The 1971 S Ike proof is 40% silver.
    Just enough to give it a little more weight (24.6 grams v. 22.7 grams) and that nice clink when it drops (although not my proof ones :confused:)

    :thumb:Thank Rusty!!! I have the hole set but my 1971-P is AU.
    I been hunt one in MS-66 but $$$$ has held me back!!!

    I feel this one, and others I asked have agreed, has questionable color. Although maybe not intentional. It's definitely not the usual AT colors, but it reacted to something pretty dramatically. It is nice to look at though.

    Nice 72s, definitely nice to look at.

    I just came across this 71 P, I'm intrigued with the toning, the color. I do like looking at it.
