FleaBay Bidiots are liable to buy anything. Who knows! Someone may need the thread to sew a button onto their shirt. See if you can gently pry open the case and remove it. If it seems to give too much resistance, give up. You might accidentally have everything go flying in different directions. Chris Oops! I forgot to ask if this is a plastic case or not.
19Lyds, I have run across a number of Ike's that seem to have the very end of the beak of the Eagle seems to be clipped off. I was wondering if you knew what would cause that? I thought it was a hit at first but the more I saw it the more I thought it might have something to do with the minting. I have seen it on both Cuni-Clad and Silver-Clad. Just another one of those thousands of Ike things that run around inside the old noggin Thanks Terry
I happened across a Proof IKE which had a small bug sealed in it but can't seem to locate it. It was a little tiny thing like perhaps a red spider mite.
Nice close up pics Chuckster. For some reason, I remember reading somewhere that the 73S DDO was fairly common and therefore is not of much value. I have several of these that look like yours and when I first found them I was was super excited, but have since been told not to get too excited since these are really common. Don't know much more than this and I am too lazy to get my IKE books out since I am on the other side of the house.
