Finally I can participate in the thread that got me into Ikes! 1974 S Ikes in my Dansco 1776-1976 S Proof Gems - Types I and II
Here is one i picked up at the local bank. Looks like end of roll toning to me. It is ugly as can be but kind of interesting
here be my IKE, looks like adoubling on that last 4, ill have to check that out when i get home. didnt notice it before.
I have no new Ike coin to post tonight, but I've been looking for new ones... I've been coming across a bunch of wild eBay auctions this week for so called 'error' coins that involve Ike dollars and I've started a couple of new threads in the Error Coins forum to scoff at them. Then I can across this most important message of warning from an eBay Seller regarding the future of Ike dollar collecting... from the eBay item description, "ALL IKE DOLLARS ARE EXPECTE TO SHOW A 200%-500% INCREASE IN VALUE OVER THE NEXT 5 YEARS! BUY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Let it be known fellow Ike dollar enthusiasts, you have been forewarned. LOL! :goofer:
Well if every thing is no good then,Time to just buy pcgs or anacs graded coins I do trust Coneca as well,Most people are not graders like my self.Best advice I can think of just buy the graded coins from them and for get the rest
1971 D Eisenhower RDV-006 Friendly Eagle Variety Just picked this one up yesterday. They are getting harder and harder to find. Terry
Here are 2 Ike's I found last week in a $100.00 bag of Ikes from my local bank. A 1972D Peg Leg and a 1972P Struck Through Grease.
Well, this is a pretty cool thread so I just wanted to put up one of my Ikes. Its nothing special but seems to be developing some minor toning on the reverse by the eagle.
