Just posted this in another thread, but hey...silver is silver Alexander The Great Drachms and Tetradrachms
Few know that the bail in laws to preserve bank health also give them ownership of all the contents of your safety deposit boxes. Whether they inventory them and give you an IOU for the contents at their own assessed value I couldn't say. I'd not be surprised if our bankers siezed our coins and then assessed them all at face value.
I have way too many silver coins...over 150, so here are but a small sample: They are in no particular order, just a random assortment of ancient Greek and Roman coins from an 800 year period of time.
And here are a few more random ancient silvers I'll stop now because 150+ ancient silver coins might get a little spammy. Don't want to be accused of being a spam maker. Just thought I'd liven this modern silver coins thread with a few ancients. Thanks for indulging me. Edit: I see a few guys beat me to it with ancients. Nice.
