That appears to be type A. The easiest way view to the differences between type A, B and C is to compare a normal reverse (type A) with a proof 1963-ish (type B) and and 1965 business strike (type C). Personally, I;m not a fan of the picture Michael posted because I think the differences are more obvious when viewing the whole reverses- not just segments. One of the pick-ups I find easiest to see on a quick glance is the pointiness of the upward facing leaf to the left of eagle's foot- above "AR" of dollar. On the type A this leaf kind of fades into the fields. Whereas on the type B and C the edges of this leaf are clear and defined with a definite pointy tip. You can very easily find a circulated quarter with the type C reverse to see the well defined leaf edges and points compared to the type A.
Wow, that Washington has presence. Now that is the kind of coin I would want in my collection. Bravo!
If that coin didn't grade MS67 I think I would have to stop collecting coins. Personally, I think it should be MS67+.
It's hard to follow the last two posted especially with a modern. This was a pocket change find about a month ago.
IDK if I posted this here or not. It's counterfeit. The weight is very close and the size is right. It's unnaturally shiny in hand. Which made me examine it closer.
