Post a Washington quarter

    I see more funky surfaces on pennies. Can't explain why that quarter looks like that.

    Another '54(S) with some nice die cracks, coupled with a weak strike I'm assuming the die didn't last much longer after this coin.[​IMG][​IMG]

    That's the way it was sold. Frankly, I hadn't clearly looked at it, I saw the Post a Washington thread and Photo'd it fresh from a flip and acetone bath.
    Edit.
    From the photos it shows an uneven rim, kind of like a mis- aligned. Second strike.
