Thanks for asking. Yep! We made it up here all in one piece. Only drove though about a foot of rain and waited for the Indianapolis fire department to discover there was not a fire at our motel. But made it though all that. BTW, "borrowing" someone's "linksys" for a connection, but it is also working fine.

I put this image up earlier today. Would you call this natural tone or some kind of damage? Some thought it might be fire damage. 1909s Barber Half obverse.jpg 1909s Barber Half reverse.jpg

Three pictures of the same 1954 Franklin half dollar, taken on 1) July 15, one month after being removed from a Whitman album where it had developed a little album toning, 2) on September 15, after having been exposed to the air for 3 months, and 3) the reverse, which hasn't changed much in that time.

Something about the toning on this just spoke to me, prompting me to cough up a steep 6x toning premium at $392. I don't think I have ever seen a nicer and more striking color combination on a toned Morgan. It's a common date toner, and MS63 looks right based on the cheek hits, but a big fat WOW on the obverse color (even the reverse is pretty). I just had to buy this one, even at that high price. I will let you know if the coin in-hand matches the great look shot by the seller. Fortunately I have bought 3 other coins from this same seller and all of those were keepers, so I am cautiously optimistic. But one never knows until that package arrives in the mail.

    Thanks :)

Here's another one-- 1962 proof, with amethyst toning. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to capture the toning with my camera :(
