The Dansco toning saga continues! This one had no toning when it went in my Dansco 2 years ago. It was almost prooflike. I noticed it was toning a few months ago. Now I checked it again for re-imaging this past weekend, and the toning is occurring much more rapidly. "You should really put that in an airtite or slab!" Never! Maybe it will turn into some nice rainbows. I am willing to take the risk.:thumb:
Next time I have my axial set-up put together I'll shoot some to bring out the color a bit better. It is not a rainbow toner, mostly oranges, yellows, and greens. If I were a certain eBay seller, I guess I could juice the heck out of the photos. haha.
MorGan 1885-O MS63PL - Coin that I bought from Todd ( Professional and great guy ) and from this time I can not decide if is it a special and unique color Since I have not seen something like the copper color - Would love to hear your opinions
Believe it or not this is natural toning. Its a brown box proof Ike. I think its ugly but I never really have seen blue like this unless its AT.
I have never seen one like yours but i have seen others like this.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Unique-Kill...Individual&hash=item2eba1cd3f9#ht_1826wt_1258
I'm sure this isn't that nice or rare. I cut it out of a us mint set that I sold the half and dime out of. I'm not a big toned coin person but I like the colors in this one. Does this rate as a toned coin? Have a great night. talinmaplewood
