I bought the 1961 proof set in a Capitol holder solely for the dime -- the Franklin was just a bonus so that's why Paddy got it on the cheap Check the dime out. This should be an upgrade to my toner set in terms of color. My total investment in this dime now stands at $9. One of my best steals ever. The Trueview is going to be amazing. I think it deserves a PR68 grade but I'm guessing PCGS will give it a PR67. I don't have any other raw coins to submit to PCGS at the moment though, so it will have to wait.
Decided to image a few dimes I picked up this weekend (while I was at it, decided to take a new image of the 47D, which I've had for a bit): 1954 #1 1954 #2 1955 1955 S 1963 1947 D EDIT: Thought I'd try to get a better obverse image to show the upper rim's color: And, while I'm at it, might as well add a couple Jefferson Nickels (one new, and one I've had for a bit): 1938 S 1944 D
Mines the pan pac. I sold mine last year tho as I needed money. Was a ms 65 cac and I got $1300 for it

My grades just came back from NGC on a set of medals I submitted. Here are my favorites. The first pictures are taken on my IPhone, raw, and really show off the toning. The second pictures are NGC's cert verification pictures.
Well, it's not anywhere near as gorgeously toned as @MercuryBen's pair, but this silver St. Louis Bicentennial Medal is on its way to some interesting color:
I kept losing (badly) on auctions for rainbow toned Oregon half dollars, but picked up this fella as a consolation prize at a more more reasonable price. The toning is not too shabby. I will be sending in for reconsideration and TrueView. I'm not an expert in commemorative halves, but the surfaces look super clean, and with the color and luster I don't see how this isn't a 67+.
Just posted some very colorful (and very gorgeous) world coins over in the World Coins: Your Newest Acquisitions thread (you really should go check them out.) Here are the highlights of US Toners I picked up today: 1916 P Buffalo Nickel 1945 P Jefferson Nickel 1950 D Jefferson Nickel PCGS MS66 (I think this one will fit in nicely with my set) 1962 D Franklin Half 1971 D Eisenhower Dollar 1989 American Silver Eagle
toned cents are really pulling me in lately. Bought what I'm expecting to be a knock out recently that I'll post when I get in hand.
