This is a slow moving thread these days.

Been carrying this around in my pocket for about 2 months now. It’s a proof I picked out of circulation. It’s toning up pretty nicely.

OH toned, I thought you said taned.:D

Found it today just off the sidewalk.
It's been there long enough to get an Arizona sun tan/tone.

I first laid eyes on this piece over two years ago. It has haunted my dreams ever since. I have never had a coin draw me in the way this one has. I been trying to barter with the dealer off and on ever since. Problem is the dealer is overly attached to the coin as well. This piece isn't mine yet... Oh, but one day she will be. Absolutely the most compelling toning I have ever seen. Ever.

Here's a Proof 1954 Jefferson Nickel that I just fell in love with. I am using the reverse of it for my avatar now. I will be sending it to PCGS soon and will be getting a TrueView of it to compare to my images.

I could see the color in the Capital Plastics holder while it was still in the dealers case. I knew immediately I needed it. :)

Very seldom see a toned Peace $ , I think because a lot of them were cleaned at one time in there life.
