Post a Toned Coin

Sellers pics. This toning probably isn't for everyone but for $80 I think it was a nice pickup and I personally like wacky/messy toning sometimes.

I love how the flip on the PCI quarter says 95% white... when it clearly isn't.

 

I'd say it's closer to 75%

 

However it most probably was 100% white at the time it was graded. These PCI holders are known for coins toning. I've seen so many with this sort of documentation on them.

What is so funny is when I saw your coin It was like I had seen it before. There's nothing like taking watch at sunset or sun rise. You're alone the sound of the following sea, the smell of salt..... the wind in your hair.
Then the sun slips below the horizon , and the stars light up the night sky. In a few hours it repeats only in reverse .
You can't explain to others in words the magic of the power of the wind....filling your sails as you slide across the Caribbean sea.
Other than everyone should experience it once in their life time.... the magic that is..as the vision never leaves you...nor the magic.

 

Now that is a beautiful piece of writing.

What a pleasure that coins, photography, travel, writing, and an appreciation for what surrounds us, can all come together to extend our enjoyment of each.
