Here's one I just purchased from Justin , I must say he has a great eye for details as well as appeal .
Going over his e bay listings this one spoke to me as it did him. And of course these are the sellers images as I just remitted payment this morning . Thanks again Justin this will fit very well in my collection .
Don't know for sure but looks to be a Vam 2

How would you describe these colors for the obverse and reverse?

How is that a 65FBL?? The bell lines look broken at the start on the left, not to mention all the chatter near the crack.

 

It's not really a 65FBL, it's a PCGS 65FBL :-D

 

This isn't a monster, but it is really hard to find a 31 with any nice colors, let alone rainbow toning.

 

I tried to snag this one on Sunday but didn't get it.

My bet is that Robec snagged that one. I am betting it is superb in hand. I considered bidding on it, but I have that 1942's cousin in 67+ with nice toning on the reverse as well. . .

It filled one of three holes left for my 1940-45 short set. Slow but sure.

That's a beauty Ben. I hope mine looks close on the obverse. I know it won't on the reverse.

Glad to see it going in a great set! If I had known, I wouldn't have upped my bid so much in the last second. At least I'll get to see a TrueView of it sometime.
