I picked up 3 toned Mercury Dimes and a toned San Diego Commem Half at the Baltimore Convention. I photographed the 1943S PCGS MS66+FB CAC first. Was very pleased with how well this coin photographed. The reverse is just insanely beautiful. Will post pix of the other 3 soon . . . .
Here is the second Mercury Dime. 1941 in PCGS MS65FB. Not as spectacular toning, but very original and the surfaces are absotely pristine. This coin is a solid MS66FB or higher, and I will likely submit for reconsideration.
My final Mercury pick-up was another 1941, this time in NGC MS67, just barely missing full bands. Pristine surfaces, flashy luster, and great toning.
Finally, the 1936D Commem Half in PCGS MS67+CAC. I overpaid for this, but have been wanting a toned San Diego for a long time now.
Those Mercs are great, this last one, the 1936D Commem Half is just stunning! Here's a few more Roosevelts I picked up recently
