    Now how did you guys get shots of the toning so well? I tried and did not succeed... any advice..... or perhaps my coins in front of your camera? :p

    Sometimes I wish I did have a fancy camera setup. But not so. Truth be told, I go between an old Fuji point & shoot and my old Blackberry smartphone which has one of the best lens for cell phone cameras. Lights with CFL natural light bulbs at 10 and 2 and I always tilt the lens or coin at the slightest angle. Actually, that particular dime I had to shoot twice, I saw the best colors after I was finished the first time. So I had to re-shoot it to get the color you see there.
