I think you are thinking of Southern California. It is SIGNIFICANTLY different further North. Ever hear of the Sierras? Take a look in your USA Today newspaper throughout the year. Oftentimes the coldest temperature in the Lower 48 will be in CA.
I'm sure this is AT but it's a cool color pattern. I have several AT coins all of which are commons both BU and Proofs. I know the majority are appalled by them as being damaged or tampered with, but the ones I got are viewed by me as art work with little or no numismatic value.
