I like the die polish on the obverse. I also love the burgundy on the reverse. I don't see that color very often, but I do like it very much. Cool coin.
What, do you mean 85!! Over 100 here for at least a week in Texas!! My Cowboys are enjoying that Oxnard weather!!
Stay inside boys where the weather is nice!! Do not melt!! I remember when I was stationed in Alameda, I just froze my buns off!! And that was in August. lol
There's a famous quote by Mark Twain, "The coldest winter I ever spent was the summer in San Francisco"...
And he was absolutely correct. And I just read my sentence and had to edit it... What the heck was I saying! Anyhow, I remember going to a Giants game, the fog was dipping in and out of the Candlestick park roof. Craziest thing I've ever seen. And yea, I should have brought my parka or at least a blankie! lol
Back to toned coins... these two arrived in my mailbox today... 1958-D Washington 1964-D Kennedy (and just a quick note, the Sacramento RiverCats, the SF Giants triple A team beat Round Rock, the Texas Rangers AAA team, 11-0. And from a long time Giants fan, Candlestick park never had a roof, and Madison Bumgarner never played there. He came to the Giants in 2009 and has always pitched at AT&T Park )
