Larry it is wrong of you to be using my copyrighted work for your own purposes without permission. At minimum it is low and immoral.
I will quote you and pull the images down from the other forums. They were posted there so folks could understand the threads that you started. They will be down in a few.
Everyone, the coin in controversy is in post #6634 (p. 332 using default viewer settings); that way no one needs to worry about infringing on his precious copyrighted image of an obviously ATed coin (in my opinion). I think your attempts to bully people into removing images that you yourself posted is unbecoming. It is also my understanding from the NGC forums that you have asked the moderators to remove your original post. When you post to this site, you accept the terms of use and may have waived any copyright claims that you might have otherwise had. That would be an issue for @Peter T Davis to explore since he has likely read the terms of use and I haven't in years. I hope you @Peter T Davis and @GDJMSP will seriously look into whether Cointalk must comply. I am not convinced Cointalk must do so especially since they were posted by the person who took them, and if not, then I would leave the image so everyone can see it for posterity.
The poster of the ATed Morgan (my opinion of course) is showing himself on the NGC and PCGS threads. He deleted his post and the coin after some thoughtful commentary had been provided. A poster reposted the image so others could learn, and the original poster of the ATed Morgan threw a fit, calling him unethical, immoral, etc., and also used copyright claims to attempt to bully other posters to remove the reposted images. Apparently he cannot stand honest opinions when they are offered on his coins. On the NGC forums several posters opined that the piece was AT, and he threw a fit for no apparent reason. The said poster also indicated that he has asked the moderators here to remove his post in #6634 to permanently deprive people of the ability to see the coin.
A new pickup for my fledgling toned Roosevelt set with thanks to WL for his relentless birddog prowess.
