Picked up an old Wayte Raymond Roosie album. Lot's of toning going on. Here were some of my favorites.
How do you guys light your toners for these photoshoots? I've been collecting toned dimes for a while now but am having the hardest time taking pictures. I've been using a desk light, white background, and slanted desk for the right angles, and I'm setting my camera (Nikon D3200) to incandescent (or whatever a house light really is, just the one that's supposed to work), but i'm still getting either yellow, bland, but sharp photos or white, colorful, but blurry photos. No middle ground. Also tried using natural sunlight a couple times but the first time my camera was blocking the sun, making them dark, and the second time the wind blew the coin across my yard. Should i change my lighting or get a new camera? A couple examples;
Different seller's photos but a few of my most recent toner purchases; Not even sure if the last one is NT or AT (anyone think they can tell?) but it sure was cool so i went with it.
