    1917 Lincoln Cent (PCGS MS65BN). Thank you CT member Carboni7e (MonsterCoinz) for parting with this deeply toned gem. I love the detail in the hair you get with these Lincolns from the teens. I think it's stunning. I absolutely love it!

    I have never seen one tone like this or even similar. Any ideas how or why?

    I can not wait to see it in my hands and take better pics of it. this kind of toning makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :cat: lol

    One I found still in a 1971 US Mint Proof Set. Did not want to bust it out, so best I could do thru the lens.[​IMG]

    New to toned coins but I found this guy and am unsure if it is toned or just dirty. I put it next to a plain nickel to compare. Would love some advice on this coin!
