a CT member cent collector found a gorgeous green toned cent in a set. gorgeous green too. I once saw the most beautiful purple proof Jefferson nickel at a coin show in Vegas. I said how much and he said $500. I laughed and said to much for me later. never seen 1 purple proof since then. it might be a new trend in toned coin hunters ? I might take a stab at it in future.

yes but all Brown with a hint of golden. Toning not rainbow just golden brown.

 

What did this VDB grade??

Old ANACS 66. It's also a DDO.

 

A beatiful toned 2012 cent. I love the deep purple and red toning. Found this in a roll. I'm now collecting toned coins.
