Very nice trade you posted! I love the grey as well. It's not the rainbow toning that's thought of when people mention "toned coins", but it takes time for silver to revert back to it's grey color.
Ok I just blew my coin budget for quite awhile at ha but talk about a stunner this ones got it all may even be my favorite coin I own sellers pics old white anacs or 64
I think we was both just on ha at the same time there was a lot I liked but that trade was my favorite and took all my money
Yes we were...lol. I'll trade you even steven? I don't have a Trade Dollar and you could certainly use another toned Morgan. What do you say? In all seriousness, do you plan to keep the Trade Dollar or sell it in your store? BTW, that is an AWESOME looking Trade Dollar. If it were me, I wouldn't sell that for a long time.
That ones gonna be a keeper for a long time too!! Makes my other 2 proof trades look kind of shabby by comparison now I want to upgrade those and sell them!!
These are the same coins I posted in the New Acquisitions thread, but I got some better pictures and thought they should be here too
Couple newbies. Although a Franklin, still nice. Not sure if SMS or business strike. Just imaged this for @bkozak33 A serious beauty.
Some Lovely toners everyone! I particularly like the 1858 HDime. Here's one I put in a brown paper bag about 20 years ago (along with about 20 - 30 other circulated silver dollars), threw it in a drawer and pretty much forgot about it. I took it out of the bag within the last year and was surprised to see it had toned up like this...
I don't want to duplicate post, but I created a thread for my latest PCGS submission of all toners, except one. It can be viewed here.
Here's a lesson for me...NEVER watch an HA auction live if you haven't spent the time to view the coins in advance. THIS was a total impulse buy. I already own this date and m/m in MS66, but thought the toning was attractive. I didn't buy it for the pedigree.
