    Submit them to NGC, get MS66, and then sell them to me? Sounds like a plan. :cool:

    Just picked this baby up. Slightly surprised it did not get a star from NGC, as I think it is star material with all those rainbows:

    This wouldn't get a star grade from NGC due to the brown toning. NGC will not give a star to any coin that has brown or darker toning. Still a pretty coin though.
    Quote from NGC:
    "Toned coins can be of a single color or multicolored but cannot have any areas that are dark brown, approaching black."

    You are right. I re-read the rubrics from NGC, and it would not get the star due to the darker area. I tend to like the rainbow that fades to darker.
