    You crack me up.
If you ever post a coin that doesn't look like Barney the dinosaur threw up on it, then I'm sure it would get NT votes.

In fact, I know you have some NT coins. Those are the ones in slabs, that you didn't create in your tone hole.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I really don't care what people do to their coins. What you do though, is purposely tone them for the sole purpose of selling them to unsuspecting buyers on ebay. You simply won't admit it.

we all know how to AT coins in natural ways so its a moot point discussing intent imho. but grandpa read what you have written and replace the word toning in your post with grading, you will get a few laughs :D

Ok, let me make one thing perfectly clear. I haven't posted on this site in about 3-6 months. I am not involved in whatever dispute you are having with Greg and have no desire to get involved.

I am not at all influenced by who posts a coin. The merits of the coin will speak by themselves. The fact that my classification of the coins you posted yesterday ranged from AT to NT on my scale is evidence of that. Doug is correct that the TPG graders have no idea who the submitter is and they also must judge each coin by what they can see. They have no idea about the past history of the coin or the intentions of any of the coins owners.

Furthermore, if you are going to quote me, then make sure your quote is accurate. At no time did I say "all AT crap". This is my direct quote:

Your little spin tactic that the TPG's reputations regarding toning would somehow be damaged because I said you posted AT crap is completely ludicrous. Furthermore, you purposefully posted some coins of each category with your photographic barrage. So instead of disagreeing with my assessment of each individual coin, instead you change my words in order to bolster your own agenda. Do you routinely take others posts out of context? Or do you only do it when you consider them a shark?

BTW, Shark Week starts on August 4th on the Discovery Channel. Their ad campaign is "It's a bad week to be a seal." For anyone who has not seen the "Snuffy the Seal" commercial, check it out, it is hilarious.

Hey, I'm gettin' there! With a bit more practice and a 2nd light (which I've been putting off getting for like a year and a half cause I don't wanna spend like 10 bucks despite having spent 10 bucks on other stuff time and time again since then lol) I will be satisfied with my pics. I think the reverse pic of that crown is one of my best so far...its nowhere near your pics on your worst day, but pretty good.

Your post came off as a cheap shot. If you meant it another way, then you are right, I over thought it.

I didn't mean to come off that way.... I respect you and your opines. The post was an honest divert to another aspect of tpg's grading of toned coins and credibility of the submitter... I think your one of the more credible posters on this forum, honest, steadfast, and true to your opinion...abit like Doug... and spock.. and other dinasours longer term readers know. Your in good company in my book. Maybe not as high up as others... but up there.

I have stayed out of this hoping that it would move on but it hasn't so I am going to say what most are probably thinking. GET OVER IT! You are all acting like children. Baha I have purchased coins off of you that have been classified as genuine from TPG so you do sell AT coins in your auctions. Gregg you are a good friend but what does it do to argue with someone that doesn't care about what you think. Like it was stated earlier this is a toned coin post so post what ever you have. I am hear to learn from you all and you all are teaching me to doubt all of you rather than enjoy the hobby.
