Post a Toned Coin

Well it's too bad this 1875-S Seated Dime was so harshly cleaned way back whenever. I bought a farily complete set fo Seated dimes (minus the keys) all in an old Wayte Raymond album recently. 80% have some type of colorful tone with many like this. one.

I was given this as a gift over 10 years ago, it was in a Littleton mint plastic holder. I just opened it to place in my new dansco type set album. I had no idea that it had started to tone.

 

Spotted this in the cash drawer at work. The blue caught my eye.

 

1960 Jefferson Proof came yesterday. First is sellers pics, 2nd is quick iPhone pic.

 

Finally found a nice toned Peace dollar for my type set, that didn't cost an arm and a leg.

 

VERY Pretty coin...love it, and nicely toned Peace Dollars aren't that easily available for sane prices.

 

Well, I said no more coins for a while until i sell my other property, but couldn't resist a great Morgan toner:

 

25s and up start to get tough with nice bright colors. Great find.
