    1981 nice
    1979 Quarter I have never see green as toning on a clad Proof quarter but nickle tend to get green toning.my2c

    I don;t know what you are referring to since I cannot see baha's posts.

    But, this is the only one I have with green in it. I am not convinced it's natural.

    I cannot see the particular coin you are referring to, but I already know what it looks like, and it is far from beautiful.

    same 4, but less diffused light.. less color but more luster...

    Only thing I meant was the green was darker than normal. I know 1978-82 US Mint was trying to find a new coin/planchet wash.
