    My two type coins.

The 1866 with rays. This one is now in an NGC MS-64 holder.

I know I’m resurrecting an old thread but I am hoping for some good advice /assistance. I recently purchased an estate collection that contained a large quantity (150ish) shield nickels. Many are in nice shape as/ms and most all are attributed with overdate or mpd variety info. My intention is to sell them off as they are not the focus of my collection. There are so many that listing individually on eBay would take forever. Would a third party auction company be a good option? Are there shield nickel collector communities? I found one site but it looks fairly dormant. I’m not trying to get rich but I do think there is some very good value in the entire collection. Here’s an example of a couple in the collection.
