Got it back in change. Not bad for 60 years of circulation. Couple nicks and luster away from having a full torch reverse.
My phone doesn't take good close up photos but here is shots of my complete silver Roosevelt dime set. Every coin a gem Beauty.
I was rolling coins to take to the bank and I came across a 1954 dime. I have not seen a silver coin in my change for over five years. It has definitely been in active circulation but it is still readable. I will stick it in my coin box for now. Yes, I do remember silver coins as a kid.
So I have to ask. I have found a 1968-s without a mint mark. I know this is woth something but not 100% sure I should break it out of the set. Currently in the same set is a Penny with out a mint mark, also appears embossed but I am fuzzy about that. The second penny is a normal 1968-s and the Nickel and Quarter I need to get something to view better as the mint marks are not clear. So getting a magnifying glass today. Just wanted to know if I send these to get Graded do they break the set? Should I break the set? it appears to my untrained eye at least MS-60+ never touched or opened. I will post pictures sortly.
