No DCAM on the 68

 

And finally the ugly duckling of the the group.

 

A soak in pure acetone has made that 69 into a decent drake.

 

Picked mine up yesterday for $10 at the LCS. Now it's in an airtite.

I just love the feel of a sharp reeded edge of an MS, SMS, or Pf coin when first cut out of OGP!! Hard to describe...almost get goosebumps!

 

For a slabbed 1952 proof set:

 

NGC and PCGS price this coin at over $1000. I didn't find any auction prices supporting that. My purchase price, for sure, did not support that price.

 

Just sold this bad boy this week.

 

I’ve got a few real ugly ones from the saltwater!

They look like pennies, and I have scrape the edge to see the silver!

I have a few I'd like to share, I think they look nice but... I'm no expert.

 

I have one similar but it’s not that colorful
