Here's the old Toned Coin Collectors Society steps for people that are addicted to toned coins... TCCS Steps We admitted we were powerless over toned coins – that our bank accounts had become unmanageable. Came to believe a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity, namely our spouses. Made a decision to turn our will and “A box” toners over to the care of Ron. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our “C box” toners. Admitted to our members, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our bad purchases. Were entirely ready to have TCCS remove all these defects of character. Humbly asked TCCS to remove our shortcomings. Made a list of all persons we had irritated and inadvertently boasted to, regardless of their interest or lack thereof, regarding our toned coin collection and became willing to make amends to them all. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would possibly jeopardize our acquisition of a new toner, particularly when attending an auction. Continued to take inventory and when we overpaid promptly admitted it. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with TCCS, praying only for knowledge of its will for us and the power to make another purchase. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other toneaholics and to practice these principles in all our affairs, except when attending a coin show.
Here's my 1950 Franklin. It is plate coin # 3 in Tomaska's, "Cameo & Brilliant Proof Coinage of the 1950 to 1970 Era".
