You need better illumination. And even distribution. I'm sure the rays on Peace's head are not that much brighter.

 

Last high relief proof Peace dollar struck.

 

I would truly love a proof Peace Dollar in my collection. For now, a picture is as close as I get. Maybe someday I'll get the opportunity to ogle one in hand.

I'll get the 27-S posted soon. There is only one left to complete my registry set - which now ranks at #22 on NGC's site. The camera cast a shadow across her cheek that I can't stand. One day I'll be able to get a real photographer!

Just got me an unc 22p hot-50 vam 5 for a mere $20 today. Great relationships with high turnover lcs owners are awesome! I said take twenty, he said Sure

I must add it was a fun set to complete. The 1921 got me started, it was in a standard NGC holder, so I sent the ones I had in the standard NGC holders and had them put in Retro holders.
