Sure there are probably a couple of these threads in the archives, but why not start a new one for this under appreciated denomination. So post a nickel, any series, any grade, raw or slabbed. The only condition is that its from your collection.

I'll start out with my raw 1883 no cents liberty nickel. I have always had a sweet spot for barber coinage!

My best from each set. I just put them in their albums & was too lazy to extract them, so the photos leave something to be desired.

1883 No Cents Liberty V nickel. Nice gold toning, great details.

1914 Buffalo Nickel. Same gold toning. Best detail in my Buffalo herd.

1950-D Jefferson. Bright, shiny specimen. I know you're wondering how many steps it has, and it didn't photograph well, so the color enhanced enlargement at the bottom shows that it's not full steps, but pretty close.

I only have 1 shield with a date, and it's not too hot, so no pics. Working on getting it some friends, though

I couldn't take good photos to save my life, but anyhow...

This is a proof Jefferson nickel with some nice blue toning in the mirrored fields. It's hard to get all of the blue showing at once in one shot. Both sides feature this toning.

Then there's my proof shield nickel for my type set.

Wow! Some very nice pictures and some very nice coins. I really need to learn how to take some close up photos with my Nikon D40. I'm sure it can be done, but it's not as easy as I would have thought. If someone has a link to a thread with pointers (I already searched), it would be appreciated.
