I bought all of these raw, and they are going to stay that way. I paid less than half of what their slabbed counterparts go for.

American Silver Eagle proofs are gorgeous, but worth grading?

I dug these two cents a few months apart, both 1803, and very nice details. A little too corroded to send in.

This 1930 Uruguay 5 pesos gold First of all I love the art deco design. it even has edge lettering, with stars.8.4850g,0.9170gold,25.01oz AGW mintage was 100,000,
however only 14,415 were ever released,Remaining 85,585 were melted! The beauty of this specimen would be lost in plastic.

The picture does not do justice in hand she's dark but her luster still shines through..... with rainbow tones.

That should tell you a lot. And it's not that you got those coins for a cheap price ;)

They don't have to be MS70's for us to enjoy. Perfection is not everyone's goal in numismatics.
