A Saint Helena halfpenny token, 1821, from a 25 cent bin in terrible condition. Here's a better one. "Payable at St. Helena by Solomon Dickson and Taylor" Rev: "One Halfpenny SDT". Probably made in response to the economic boom in the tiny island caused by the presence of Napoleon and his entourage, but Napoleon's abrupt death in 1821 caused the economy to crash.
