Love that! A ‘12-D nickel, a CircCam, and a family heirloom, to boot!

If we're allowed to post more than one, this was the Holy Grail for me for decades - the 1947 50c Maple Leaf Curved Right 7. I finally sprang for one for a birthday ending in 0.

I have had 1 curved 7 coin on my watch list on Ebay forever. I need to get out of debt first before I can buy coins again. That will be awhile (1 year hopefully). I am resourceful I will get it done. Congrats on getting your curved 7. What grade is it ?

Yoda, I don't know about his, but an MS 63 lists at $12,000.00 on NGC. No higher grade than that was listed.

It's SP which are much cheaper than the circulation strikes. Even then they rarely appear for sale, I believe the estimate is around 200 total minted in SP and circulation. Mine graded "UNC Details - Cleaned" so I got it relatively cheaper. I dispute that designation for various reasons but fundamentally I don't care, it's a spectacular coin in person, to me at least. No way I would have sprung for an MS coin, I ain't Daddy Warbucks. @spirityoda I hope you are able to get yours, if that's what you want.
