You missed the fact that the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Browns (now Baltimore Orioles ) met in the World Series with the Cardinals winning 4 games to 2. It was the only American League pennant for the Browns.

Sestertius of Vespasian minted in 71 AD, depicting a Jew seated to the right in mourning. It commemorates the capture of Judea by Vespasian's son Titus, and the destruction of the Jewish Second temple in 70 AD. Interestingly, the spoils taken from the temple were used by Vespasian to fund the construction of the Colosseum in Rome, which began in 72AD and was completed by Titus in 80 AD.
