    Here's a genuine denarius of Sextus Pompeius Fostlus, along with a contemporary fourée. The genuine example is 3.84g, where the fourée is 3.33g.

    Obverse: X; Head of Roma right, wearing winged helmet ornamented with gryphon’s head, visor in three pieces and peaked, earring, and pearl necklace, hair falling in three locks; jug behind, X (mark of value) below chin
    Reverse: SEX•PO•FOSTLVS / ROMA; She-wolf standing right, head left, suckling twins (Romulus and Remus); behind, birds on fig tree; on left, shepherd standing right; SEX • PO • FOSTLVS around, ROMA in exergue

    That is a nice solid Fostlus showing a great deal more of the left side legend than most and all three birds. Not all that long ago CNG had two decent legend coins on which I was outbid. I have seen very few with legends on all sides. Mine is fine on right and bottom but lacking the left.
